Fast ride

A fast hot (in more ways than one) ride, that didn't end. While the lov'in was hot, didn't feel any romance or love between our characters except Trys and Gray. Everything moves along too quickly, not just our group, and then stops, major cliffhangers. Only reason I gave the third star was because all the forest fire descriptions were fantastic. I actually felt like I was there with them.

What a Great Feakin' Book! I am so happy and frustrated at the same time. How can we end the book there? What happens next? I hate when I have to wait to find out where a story goes. I end up having to re-read the first so I can reconnect with my characters. We have our girl Jez, daughter of a helicopter pilot who died in the line of duty fighting wildfires. She is determined to follow in her fathers footsteps saving lives and forests.Then we have our three great guys Trystan, Gray and Nix; all experienced in fighting wildfires and falling for our girl. And of course our bad guy/girl or are there two working together? We follow our foursome through training and their first date together when danger comes their way.
I've got to say.. I loved this book. The story flows so smoothly. And the end leaves us with a bit of a mystery. Will the next book follow our initial characters or will it start with the story of the other woman on the team? Will I get my Happy Ever After? Even though I didn't realize there was a cliffhanger at the end, I would have read this book anyway. With Jana Leigh, you really can't go wrong. I've never read anything by Lynn Ray Lewis, but will have to check for other books by this author just to see.
