About the Author
Dr. Carlisle Holland grew up in Deadwood, Texas, and received his medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1977. He is board certified in Family Practice with a special proficiency in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine and a nationally recognized authority on the use of osteopathic manipulation. He specializes in the treatment of children, as well as treatment of injuries to the head, nervous system and musculoskeletal system. He has over twenty years experience treating neurological disorders and complex medical conditions. In the early 1980's Dr. Holland was a professor at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and helped develop integrative medicine conceptually. He has designed residencies and other medical training programs. His educational videos have been used in osteopathic colleges in the United States, France, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Dr. Holland is a member of the Bureau of Experts for the osteopathic profession. He continues to teach in post doctoral training programs and is adjunct clinical faculty for osteopathic medical schools in California, Arizona and Texas, and for the University of California, Davis Medical School. Dr. Holland is in private practice in Sebastopol, California, where he resides with his family.
